Our culture has been absolutely poisoned. Lust and sexual immorality are constantly being promoted-you can’t escape it. As Christian men and women, sexual purity is becoming harder and harder to fight for when you are able to access the most graphic of material right from the device you hold in your hand.

Enter an organization called Fight the New Drug. Although FTND is not associated with any certain theology or worldview, their goal is to educate everyone, no matter their beliefs or background, on the danger of porn. Their motto? Porn kills love.

Facts don’t care about your feelings, and they are the basis of FTND’s operation. They enlighten people on the addictive nature of porn, and the fact that it always escalates. They explain how porn doesn’t just harm you, but those around you, the ones you love; it effectively destroys love and relationships.

So, this month, if porn is something you struggle with, FTND has a challenge for you. If you choose to accept the challenge of #NoPornovember, you will be challenged to forgo porn for the entire month of November, hopefully instilling new patterns of behavior that carry on after the month is up. Are you up for this challenge?

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” We are made new through Christ. You don’t have to continue fighting the same old battle and being enslaved by the same old things. Christ has won the battle over sin, and if you have a relationship with him, he can fight this battle for you as well.

What are you waiting for? Change can start today.
